3 Miles with Rachel today out to Washington! It was so much fun to run with her because I haven't ran with her in a long time. We weren't to intent on playing ultimate, and knew if we did we probably couldn't wouldn't have time to run after. So, we ended up just going and running!

Just an easy 3 out to Arctic Circle today by myself. It was good to just go and not have to chase around. Legs are getting better and running is actually starting to feel natural again. 

Arm Weights! I love the feeling of sore arms, probably because they are never sore! But my arms are weak sauce!

GREEN CAR~ I ran with Chandis, Kaylee, Kacey, Michael and Wes. It 'twas loads of fun! We ran out into Washington. We went to go see this green car but it disappeared. I thought it was a prank all along but it was a nice run anyway. A little farther then I've ran all week and it was easy! 

Leg weights! I think I pulled something, no joke!

Our team had a timed trial today and I absolutely hated the idea of it. I don't like to race just to see how fast I go or if I'm improving. I don't like getting stressed about it and discouraged because my times are not good because I've not trained for it, and just go kill myself when I haven't trained for it. BUT I got roped into out of guilt. 

Me and Chandis decided we would just run it because we were really sore from weights all week. We started out and well it's a race so I kind of couldn't help myself. I caught Megan and her friends and I found a girl running with them and I picked on her and we took off from that group. She was a tough little nut. It ended up being o.k, I didn't race it but it was grand!

*Warmed up .75 with Rachel on the track and .5 with Chandis

I wanted to run with the new girls but I also wanted to run a bit faster and longer today too. . . .I decided in the end to run quickly out to Starbucks (the 4 mark) and turn around and hopefully be quick enough to meet them at Arctic Circle on the way back. I took off and Chandis agreed to come with me. We had a great pace but Chandis ended up getting sick around the 3 mark so I waited and we just ended up turning around and running back with the new girls.

I just ran 3 today with some of the new girls coming out! Oh I'm so excited! I hope they all choose to do cross country. . . . I'm sure if I run with them enough through the winter I can brain wash them into it. 

I'm also shocked with the numbers out doing winter training. I know it's still early but we have a crew! I love running with lots of people, it tends to make every run a new adventure.

My best days of running are when I plan less and run MORE! A big group of us started out to do dog pound today and by the park we found DECKER! He ran with us for awhile, it was great. We got back to the school and decided to add in some striders. Maddi, Chandis and I headed to do some striders but Maddi and to head after 4 so me and Chandis finished with 8. We were walking back and saw the boys doing theirs so we thought we would see if we could keep up. Rachel joined in when the boys finished so we decided to go with her on hers. In the end we had a grand total of 16 striders!!! It was lots of fun. I'm not very good at sprinting and the last 8 were more sprints than striders but it was good! Hopefully they can help me come track season!

I ran out to Green Springs with Rachel and Chandis today. Rachel turned around at the 3 mark and me and Chandis kept heading up for the 5. It was a good run. We were debating before about easy or moderate and 3 or 5 miles so we went with easy and  5! Complete a good choice!

2 mile warm up/ 600, 800, 1000, 1200/ 1.5 cool down

This was the hardest but not hardest workout ever. Hardest because my stomach hurt so bad but I couldn't stop or not finish sooo. . .and hardest too because I didn't run over the weekend why were in Salt Lake (thus sucking air). It was easy because my legs didn't hurt! I think because my legs didn't hurt it was a stupid no good, very bad work out today (due to not going fast enough?)! After, a quick 1.5 cool down to hearts and back which was probably better and faster than the repeats themselves.

I have decided after today that I need this winter training. I've been realizing how much talent these new girls have and even our freshman sophmores have from this past year. I really need to use this winter training to stay up with them. I want my varsity spot my senior year and well it's starting now.

Me and Chandis decided to follow the boys out and around dog pound today. Our goal ended up being how long we could stick with them. I bet we only could because they are tapering and going easy (for them). So we stuck up with them for awhile . . .untill. . .We turned down the dog pound road. I could kind of feeling something coming on before then but it wasn't that big. And it kept getting worse and worse so I backed off them so I wouldn't make scene. My stomach just started hurting so, so, so bad! It got to the point where I couldn't tolerate or endure it anymore. I couldn't stand up straight and I couldn't walk. And weird enough I got cold really fast. I thought I would be in some serious trouble. I just doubled myself up and worked on breathing through it. After a good long while of some serious owch pain it went away and I could stand up straight and run again. The rest of the run was grand. But that was weird though. I've felt sick before and had such but never hand anything like that and hope not to ever again!

3 out with a big group team today. I decided to go run infront with Maddi today. She always goes so fast. It was good running up there, not bad really, although it did take some effort. Mile 2 again with the stomach though. This time I didn't allow myself to stop so I had knifes going into my stomach and I wanted to stop and curl up again but I just kept pushing. On the way out of green springs I just lolly gagged in the back and tried to work through it. At the stop light I couldn't stand up strait again. Miserable. It went away about a mile away from the school though so I could pick it back up. Mile 2 was bad and miserable and owchy and the rest was wonderful? Why?

A wonderful 6 out to green springs by myself. Nobody showed up today so I didn't have a running buddy. It ended up that Jake and some girls were there but they came out extremely late then because I had been waiting FOREVER in hopes of finding somebody! I didn't mind it much once I got going. At first I thought just DI because nobody was there but then I said 3 then 4 then  5 then 6 then I was out of road! Usually when I run alone my breathing seems off and I feel like I'm sprinting but today I was just flying right. It was fun! AND no stomach pains today. I was most excited!

Me and Chandis met up in the Fields to go on our 8 mile run. I was way

prepared for it and even excited to get going far again! We started out

great and it was freaking cold outside. I couldn't feel my legs. After

awhile I got some pretty serious pain in my knee we stopped to stretch

twice so I could see if I could get it out. I thought I could put up

with it for 8 miles so I told myself no more stopping. Eventually it

got hard to pull my leg through my stride then it just totally gave! It

hurt so bad. My pace came to a dead stop and I just about ate it.

Chandis was running next to me so I went to go catch up and couldn't.

It was lame like a walk fall walk fall, even worse was I was scared!

Eased into dog pound today. I didn't push the pace at all but helped some other new kids pick it up. It was fun. Knee was okay for the first half probably because I took Thanksgiving off after the first time it gave? Although coming up the two hills and into the school I had to really concentrate on picking it up and pulling it all the way through the stride. I could barely get the stupid knee to move at the end. The pace stayed good but had a hard time with it at the end. 

I gave it a couple minutes and started to run back to get some more girls and run with them but that lasted about a couple minutes out before I couldn't walk. . . . .!
