Wooo!!! We got a new girls coach!!!! It is SOOO nice!! We used to all get nervous and degrade on ourselves and get too worried about the races. It was so nice to have a coach there running with us! She knew what she was talking about and told us all the things we really needed to hear!! I'm way excited! =) It's going to be SO much fun!

 I was supposed to go 4 today but 3 was all I could really handle. We started out going REALLY slow, it was hurting my legs. Then the coach explained everybody is different paces and that its just going to be that way with groups at all different levels. Me, Haley, Cassidy and the coach took off with that. It was nice. I started to pull away and the coach came with me. It was really fun to just run and talk with her. I didn't feel good at all though. My whole body was hurting and I couldn't breath. I turned around at three and let her regroup with the other girls.  I ran back slowly with Chandis, she is starting to get what I have. Not good.

This week has been absolutely hard! I have so many things going on after school that I'm having to miss track practices. My parents wont exactly let me return to morning practices till I'm better either. When I do get to run it's bad. I can't really breath because of my lungs and my body hurts. It is one of the worst things I have ever had and it's been lingering in me for ever, even though I'm keeping it easy. 

I'm taking ibuprofen to keep the pain down and lots of water and maxing out on vitemin C and trying to sleep! It just seems to stay! Next week if I'm better or not I will continue with hard workouts and just tough my way through. I thought I was being smart going easy but it's not doing anything.

I have a track meet Friday and Saturday. I'm running the 1600 and the 3200. I can't breath and when I get running I get coughing. I'm so nervous. I feel like I'm setting myself up to fail.

 Any suggestions please share?!

Ran with Chandis. It was way fun!! I haven't been running this week much because I was at Disneyland. But it ended up being great. Struggled a bit the last mile. Avg Pace: 8:33

Today was just one of those days that I love running and it just felt good. I started out with everybody (Chandis, Cassidy, Rachel, Haley) it took me awhile to get into it. I stayed with them till Hearts and then just let my legs go and took off. It felt really good. I don't know what happened but it was really like one morning I woke up and I could run a lot faster. My legs feel lighter and my breathing is easy. It's been like this for awhile. Weird!! At the turn around I decided to run with my friends back to the school. Chandis is not doing so well. . . she has what I had. I feel for her! Your breathing is the first thing that goes it feels like you're sufficating!

1) 8:28 getting into it really stiff. 

2) 7:50 let go

3) 9:05 just talking to Rachel and Chandis

4) 9:29 easy, easy, easy and FUN!

Yesterday I went to the doctors and well ended up from there to having surgery. Ha! Incredible! Well they cut a 1" + hole in my head and wide enough to stick a large finger in it. . . so the doctor said I can't run for a few days. The funny part is that he did no know he would have to cut so deep. . . so some nerves were cut in the process so I can't feel anything =)! There will be no running in the track meet Friday or Saturday but I will be able to run easy (if everything gets cleared on Thursday). Plan on being fully back by Monday. Ugh. . .setbacks kill!

a.m - 3 miles with Chandis!!! SOOOO GREAT TO BE BACK!!!!!!! =)

p.m -  2 mile warm up. 6x800 repeats. . . . not ran since last Monday so I was not in the best shape of my life. Funny how fast you loose it. Did all 6 really crapy and just toughed it out. Bad nuggets on times and what not. Had a splintering head ach too. Ugg . . . I hate getting back into and knowing and seeing where I could have been today! I'm such a whimp! 2 mile cool down.  Added on .5 mile at the end.

pm - We learned how to tie our shoes today in practice! =) Brilliant! 

2 mile warm, we started a bit later then the team. I had to get some medicine to calm my head. Me and Chandis warmed up together and we did our workout together too. I was so sore starting out and my legs felt sooo heavy. I made it through and not in too bad of a fashion. It was really nice to push with her and run with her. We were going so under on times, it was so cool. We ran 2x1000  and then 4x200. After we cooled down. I decided my body hates cool downs owch! After that we went and ran 9x100 striders and weights. I'm so weak!!!!!
