WAHOO I'm blogging again!

I thought I had to work today right after school so I planned ahead and went running with my dad this morning. Turns out I work at 6 tonight but a morning run with my dad was just perfect so no regrets. After two weeks off I'm feeling like a cow, fat and out of shape. My dad ran at a convenient pace for me just slow enough I wouldn't die. The only bad part about this run was right at the first mile we hit I had needles in the stomach again. That has only happened once before when I was running Kaylee and Liz in the morning. I was doubled over then before I hit the 1.5 turn around and this morning I made it to the 1.5 but in bad shape, pure pain in the upper abs just needles and knives. I doubled up for a few minutes and then the rest of the run was perfect. Weird, eh? At least I didn't end up stomach flu sick the rest of the day like the last time. The rest of the run was just peachy.

I'm considering doing this new program called cross fit in the mornings and then running after school? I just might get some muscle!

p.m - I'm glad to be back running with the team. Today we ran out to hot nails. It really wasn't too bad.

After we lifted weights. . . I have not lifted in awhile so I WILL be horribly sore tomorrow.

Today me, Stoner, Rachel, Liz and Mia ran up into Green Springs. With all of us girls out running together it feels just like the cross country season (however it wouldn't hurt our numbers to increase!). We are all becoming better friends and the runs are more fun. Today we had crazy paces. Sometimes we were racing and sprinting and then sometimes hiding and sneaking (only for a mile though). The rest was really solid. On the way back we were running and jumping over the oncoming car's shadows. It was a workout after awhile but hoots of fun.
