- Stick as a pack when we race (try to catch each other and not be so spread out)

Personal:

I come from a family of 6 where only me and my dad love running. I started running with my dad REALLY inconsistently! I didn’t like it at all and I was the biggest wimp! A friend introduced me to the high school x-country team and with the friends that were there I started loving running. I’m not the best runner but I hope to improve! Other things I like to do are traveling, singing, playing the piano and flute, camping, hiking and hanging with my family!

A WHOLE 14 MILES!!!!!!!! NO BREAKS!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!! Really only planned on going 8-10 but I felt good and was cruising along so I just kept going. Started getting hard at 12 and I just kept pushing. Knee started hurting so bad I could barely bend it after I finished mile 14 so I stopped. I've not trained in high enough miles and I need to start doing that. Over all really good run. The shoes DESTROYED my feet though. Talk about some serious blisters!! The insides of my foot hurts too. Legs felt great, probably because they've not been worked hard at all this week! I need to get my mind back in gear and not plan too much in a day that I don't have enough time to run! I'm excited I hit 14 miles, the highest I've ever ran so far. But I want higher and I know it doesn't come without a lot more practice and miles but. . . I'm setting a goal for myself: by January I want to run 17 miles!!

Piano Recital. . . :/ lame!!!

Piano Pass offs for the recital were today so I had to practice my fingers off! Not a lot of time for running only a quick jog. Was going to go after but ended up out in Hurricane

Up into Green Springs and back out, foot only hurt a little today!

Shoes nearly killed me today. Felt like my foot almost snapped in half! Maybe they're just braking in?

Got new shoes today. . .they hurt bad! I didn't like any of the shoes they had they didn't feel good at all really. BUMMER!
